Depok, November 29, 2024 — The Public Relations team of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta conducted a benchmarking visit to Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) to explore strategies in public relations, media, and communication. The visit took place in UIII’s Rectorate Building in Depok, West Java.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim, University Secretary, alongside Drs. Dadi Darmadi, Head of the Office of Media and Communication, Imansari Ujianty, S.Sos, Head of the Secretariat Office, as well as staff members from the Secretariat, Media and Communication, and Information Technology units. Their presence underscored UIII’s commitment to fostering collaborative exchanges with peer institutions.
During the session, UIII's Public Relations team—represented by Imansari Ujianty, S.Sos, Head of the Secretariat Office and Drs. Dadi Darmadi, Head of the Office of Media and Communication, presented insights into their media and communication strategies, emphasizing the integration of institutional narratives, stakeholder engagement, and digital platform optimization. This was followed by an engaging discussion where both institutions shared their unique approaches to enhancing public visibility and trust while addressing shared challenges.
The UIN Sunan Kalijaga delegation, led by Dra. Rahmi Tri Mei Maharani, M.M., Director of Public Relations, expressed appreciation for the warm reception and valuable knowledge exchange. Accompanying her were Faozi Barkah, S.Ag, S.H., Arif Kurniawan, S.E., Ira Nurhasanah, S.Hum., Bakhtiar Alfan, S.I.Kom., and Syafaul Amrul Aziz, who actively contributed to the dialogue with insights from their respective roles.
This visit served as a vital platform for knowledge-sharing and relationship-building, reinforcing the shared mission of advancing Islamic educational institutions as global centers of excellence. Both teams expressed optimism about the potential for future collaborations, marking this visit as a meaningful step toward stronger inter-university partnerships.
