Jakarta, August 11, 2024 — As Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) accelerates its efforts to secure institutional accreditation, the university is also setting its sights on a grander ambition: to become a leading global institution. The recently concluded University Accreditation Workshop, held from August 9 to 11 at the Harris Vertu Hotel, served not only as a final checkpoint before accreditation but also as a pivotal moment in the university’s strategic evolution.

During the workshop, Rector Prof. Dr. Jamhari articulated the stakes involved, framing the accreditation process as a gateway to UIII’s future on the global stage. “Achieving good accreditation is not just a formality; it’s a reflection of our institution’s quality and our readiness to compete on a global scale,” he remarked, addressing a room filled with the university’s key officers and stakeholders.

Also in attendance at the workshop were Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim, University Secretary; Saiful Umam, Ph.D., Director of Research and Strategic Partnerships; Imansari Ujianty, Head of the Secretariat Office; Muh. Yazid, Head of International Office and Student Affairs; Hatta Auliya, Head of Organizational Staff and Legal Affairs; Dadi Darmadi, Head of Media and Communications; and Yanuar Firdaus A. Wibowo, Head of the IT Office.

The workshop was more than an exercise in data verification. It was an opportunity for UIII’s leadership to chart a course toward national and international recognition, laying the groundwork for future endeavors.

Central to this vision is the updating of governance structures and strategic planning, ensuring that UIII is not only ready for this accreditation but also well-positioned for those to come.
