DEPOK – As part of its strategic mission to become a world-class institution, Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) is intensifying its efforts to achieve the Integrity Zone (ZI) designation, aiming for the prestigious WBK (Area Free from Corruption) and WBBM (Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area) certifications.
During a recent evaluation of the university’s progress, Siti Mudayaroh, M.Ag., CHRP, Senior Apparatus Human Resources Analyst of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, shared a grounded yet optimistic outlook on the road ahead.
Siti Mudayaroh emphasized that while obtaining the ZI predicate is a rigorous process, it should be viewed as a fundamental necessity for any modern institution.
“We must remain optimistic, but we must also realize that the Integrity Zone is not an easy path,” she stated. “It requires deep seriousness and high levels of commitment. However, the predicate itself is not the end goal, it is a reflection of our internal culture. Every institution needs solid governance.”
For UIII, the pursuit of the Integrity Zone is a strategic framework to evaluate and improve three core areas of the university’s operations:
She noted that these indicators are vital because UIII’s progress will be assessed not only by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) but also by external bodies such as the KPK and the Ombudsman.
A key strength in UIII’s current journey is its workforce. Siti Mudayaroh highlighted the vibrant energy of the university’s team, which consists of many young professionals ready to drive change.
“The team is filled with young talent,” she observed. “With the support and guidance of our senior members, we have the agility to ‘run’ and meet the high standards required for bureaucratic reform.”
By focusing on these structural and cultural improvements, UIII aims to ensure that its “Integrity Zone” status is not just a title, but a true representation of the university’s dedication to global standards of transparency and service.
