Depok, 14 October 2024 – In a bid to strengthen its digital communication capabilities, Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) recently hosted an immersive workshop, inviting digital content experts to lead a session on mastering the art of producing content across various platforms, including YouTube, podcasts, and social media.
Held at the Jusuf Kalla Library, the workshop titled “Mastering Digital Content Workshop: Production Strategies for Podcasts, YouTube, and Social Media for Success in the Digital Era” was a full-day event designed to enhance the skills of UIII's media team. Dadi Darmadi, Head of UIII's Office of Media and Communications, inaugurated the workshop, highlighting its importance. He noted, “Podcasts and social media are increasingly crucial for an international institution like UIII. We must prioritize digital media content creation to connect more effectively with the public.”
The session featured top digital professionals from a leading media group, with Gunawan, the Production Manager at Geomedia Group, opening the workshop's morning session. He provided a comprehensive overview of content creation in today’s digital landscape, covering essential techniques to develop audience-focused content.
Following him, Widyan Irshady, a Producer at Geomedia, shared insights into effective planning, emphasizing the importance of pre-production techniques. The technical aspects of post-production were led by Ade Rahmat Budiman, Geomedia’s Post-Production Coordinator. Their session explored the editing tools and practices crucial to producing high-quality digital content efficiently.
Concluding the event, Ananda Rizky Damatra, a Content Producer at Geomedia, discussed platform-specific strategies to optimize content reach and engagement across social media, highlighting best practices for audience retention.
The workshop included hands-on activities, Q&A sessions, and practical demonstrations, allowing the UIII media team to refine their skills in producing professional and impactful digital content.
The speakers and resource persons for this workshop are senior experts in digital media creation, with extensive experience working at national TV stations such as SCTV and on popular YouTube channels such as CokroTV and others. This collaboration exemplifies UIII’s commitment to staying at the forefront of digital communication, positioning the university to connect more effectively with diverse audiences in the digital age, as part of its grand agenda of enhancing its international outreach and global standing.
