UIII Visits Hasanuddin University to Discuss Risk-Based Quality Assurance for International Accreditation

Six delegates from Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) visited the Hasanuddin University in Makassar on May 22, 2024, to discuss the Risk-Based Quality Assurance System and International Accreditation.
Led by Suparto, Ph.D., Head of the UIII Quality Assurance Center (PPM), the delegates consisted of several lecturers from the UIII Quality Assurance Group. The discussion aimed to enhance understanding and application of international accreditation standards at UIII.
Key takeaways from the discussion included the importance of strengthening the center of quality assurance within the institution, promoting a culture of quality, and enhancing human resource capacity through training and technical guidance.

Welcoming the group was Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc., Head of Hasanuddin University Quality Assurance (LPMPP). In his speech, he detailed the structure and role of LPMPP in ensuring educational quality at Hasanuddin University. UIII representatives engaged in discussions, asking questions and exploring challenges and best practices in the accreditation of study programs and institutions.
Additionally, Dr. Phil. Nat. Ir. Sri Widodo, S.T., M.T., Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Division at Hasanuddin University, highlighted the importance of early communication and coordination with Heads of Study Programs to mitigate culture shock related to audits and accreditation.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi B., S.S., M.App.Ling., Head of the Curriculum Development and Learning Division at Hasanuddin University, discussed the coordination between the academic section and LPMPP in curriculum development.
The discussion is expected to help UIII establish a more effective quality assurance system, achieve international accreditation standards, and enhance its competitiveness in the global education arena. As an international graduate educational institution, UIII is committed to providing excellent quality education that meets international standards for its students.
