The UIII Center of Quality Assurance (PPM), in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs and International Services, held a coordination meeting focused on strengthening supports for students and alumni in 2025. The meeting took place on January 7, 2025, in the first-floor Meeting Room of the Rectorate Building and was attended by representatives from both units.

During the meeting, Suparto, Ph.D., Acting Head of PPM emphasized the importance of enhancing student welfare through better facilities and services. He highlighted that the Office of Student Affairs and International Services must prioritize providing essential support systems for students, including a language center, counseling services, and career development programs.

“These facilities are expected to significantly benefit students, must be managed seriously and professionally,” he stated. In addition, the discussion underscored the necessity of strengthening alumni engagement through an effective tracer study program.

With the first batch of UIII graduates completing their studies in 2023, this presents an opportunity to track their progress and career trajectories. This tracer study will be crucial in gathering and analyzing alumni data, ensuring that the university can tailor its support to meet their evolving needs.

To further enhance alumni support, the Office of Student Affairs and International Services will play an active role in facilitating networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and career guidance services. These initiatives will be essential in maintaining strong connections between graduates and the university, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of UIII’s academic programs.

This coordination meeting marks a strategic effort to reinforce the support systems for students and alumni, ensuring that they receive comprehensive assistance both during their studies and after graduation. Through these initiatives, UIII continues to solidify its commitment to empowering students and alumni with the resources they need for lifelong success.
