Rector Prof. Jamhari Introduces UIII to Prospective Australian Students

Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) welcomed a delegation of Australian students from Deakin Law School and Western Sydney University School of Law (WSU-SOL) on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The visit provided a unique opportunity for the students to explore UIII’s innovative approach to education and its vibrant academic environment.
UIII Rector, Prof. Jamhari, greeted the delegation with a warm introduction to the university's mission, vision, and diverse academic programs. In his address, he highlighted UIII's role as a hub for global academic collaboration and its commitment to fostering an inclusive, interdisciplinary approach to education.
The visit included a guided campus tour, showcasing the university's architectural and philosophical highlights. The students explored the iconic mosque, rectorate, and library buildings, collectively known as the three pillars of UIII.
Fachrul Rinaldi, a staff from the Directorate of Research and Cooperation, explained the symbolism behind these structures, which represent faith, knowledge, and global projection.
Dr. Jeremy Kingsley, Associate Professor and Associate Dean (International) at WSU-SOL, expressed admiration for UIII's integration of education, research, and Islamic values. "What we really want to do is make sure that our students see places like the three pillars, where there's a very interesting application of education, research, and also to Islam," he remarked.
The visit underscored UIII’s dedication to fostering international academic partnerships. By welcoming prospective Australian students to its campus, UIII continues to solidify its position as a leading institution for global academic exchange and collaborative research.
