Saudi Arabian Ambassador Visits UIII, Paving a Way for Future Collaboration

The Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Faisal Abdullah Al-Amudi, visited Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) in Depok, West Java, on July 19, 2024. Accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of UIII, M. Jusuf Kalla, he was warmly welcomed by the Rector of UIII, Prof. Jamhari, and other university officials.

The visit featured a meeting in the Board of Trustees room on the 5th floor of the Rectorate building. Ambassador Al-Amudi expressed his pleasure and delight in visiting and discovering this international Islamic university in Indonesia. 

The meeting covered several significant points, including the potential for a future partnership between UIII and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The collaboration is expected to span various fields, primarily focusing on education. Ambassador Al-Amudi also pledged to promote UIII to prospective students in Saudi Arabia. 

Present at the meeting were the Acting Vice-Rector of Academics, Dr. Phil. Syafiq Hasyim; Acting Vice-Rector for Planning, Finance, and Business Development, Prof. Amsal Bakhtiar; University Secretary, Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim; Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Nina Nurmila; and UIII Lecturer, Dr. Ilyas Marwal.
