Depok – The Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Itjen Kemenag) visited UIII on Thursday, 16 July, 2025, to mentor and guide UIII officials in Work Unit Governance Through the Implementation of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) at the UIII Rectorate.

This is being done to ensure UIII becomes a work unit labeled as an integrity zone (ZI), a Corruption-Free Area (WBK), and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy (WBBM). Furthermore, Itjen Kemenag is also reviewing UIII’s asset management.

Itjen Kemenag representative, led by Inspector I, Ahmadun, will be on duty for five days. Ahmadun said this event is a good initiative and will strengthen the partnership between the two institutions. “UIII is still new, and the organization isn’t large yet. This is a good start, and the inspectorate, acting as supervisor, can help UIII with these programs,” he said.

Lili Handajani, the team’s Technical Controller, also stated that UIII still has many shortcomings in its monitoring. She hopes this mentoring can improve in the future. She emphasized that all of this can be achieved successfully with the support and commitment of UIII’s top leadership.

“Commitment, budget, and leadership role models are crucial for achieving WBK; without them, it will be difficult. Therefore, this time, the Inspectorate General is here as a consultant and will strive to guide UIII and provide solutions,” she said.

Diana Fitri Dahli, Secretary of the Internal Audit of UIII, expressed her gratitude for the Inspectorate General’s presence to assist UIII. She hopes the synergy will continue to build and that UIII can become a good place to build an anti-corruption culture within the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
