Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) held an online pre-departure session on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, for its incoming cohort of master’s and doctoral students. The event brought together 160 of the 179 admitted students, marking an important step in preparing them for their academic journey in Indonesia.

Organized by the Office for Student Affairs and International Services, the session aimed to provide essential guidance and practical information for international and domestic students before their arrival on campus.

Key topics presented included welcome and introduction, visa and immigration affairs, living in Indonesia, travel and accommodation, health and safety, as well as academic and non-academic life at UIII.

The session was led by M. Yazid, Lc., Head of the Office for Student Affairs and International Services, along with Dewi Maryam, M.A., and Rivaldy Sandika Putro, B.HSc., who collectively offered comprehensive insights into what students can expect as they transition into life at UIII.

Speaking at the session, M. Yazid emphasized UIII’s commitment to ensuring a smooth adjustment for students both academically and socially. “Our goal is to make UIII not only a place of learning but also a supportive environment where students from diverse backgrounds can thrive,” he said.

With students joining from various countries and academic disciplines, the session also highlighted UIII’s growing role as a hub for global education. The orientation activities are expected to continue on campus once students arrive in Depok later this month.
