As you embark on your academic journey at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia, we understand how crucial a comfortable and supportive living environment is. To help you settle in smoothly, we provide guidance on various accommodation options available for our international and local students. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully to make informed decisions regarding your stay.
General Information
- UIII provides information and booking assistance for accommodation purposes. However, students are personally responsible for finalizing arrangements with the accommodation provider after arrival, during the stay, and upon check-out.
- Students may choose to stay in the suggested accommodation permanently (until the end of the academic program) or temporarily in a guest house or hotel while searching for longterm housing.
- Accommodation options vary by location and type, as detailed below:

Important Notes
- Due to limited capacity in the UIII Student Dormitory, we strongly encourage early application. Requests submitted after the deadline may not be accommodated.
- The minimum stay in the dormitory is 6 months, unless the student’s program duration is shorter.
- UIII is located in a serene and secure environment, designed to support academic excellence, spiritual growth, and intercultural exchange.
Student Dormitory
At Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII), the student dormitory offers a comfortable and supportive environment tailored for international postgraduate students. Each room is furnished with essential amenities, including a bed, study desk, wardrobe, and a private bathroom. Shared facilities such as a communal kitchen, dining area, laundry room, and recreational spaces foster a sense of community among residents.
The monthly accommodation fee is Rp1,000,000. For scholarship recipients, this amount is automatically deducted from their monthly stipend of Rp5,000,000, eliminating the need for separate payments and simplifying financial management during their studies.

Boarding House (Kost)
Finding a place to live near campus is a key step for any new student, whether local or international. Start by determining your monthly budget and listing essential needs—such as a private bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi access, and walking distance to campus. Use trusted accommodation platforms like Mamikos, OLX Indonesia, RoomMe, or KostHub to search for kost (boarding houses) based on location, price, and amenities.
It’s also helpful to ask for recommendations from current students or search through social media and community groups. Whenever possible, schedule a site visit or request a room video tour before making any commitments, and always review the rental agreement carefully.
For international students, there are a few additional things to keep in mind. Make sure the kost accepts non-Indonesian tenants, and ask if they require documents like your passport, student visa (KITAS), or a letter from the university. Some kosts may also require a minimum rental period or advance payment.
Around the Indonesian International Islamic University (UIII) in Depok, rental prices typically range from Rp700,000 to Rp1,200,000 per month for standard rooms (usually with a shared bathroom and fan), and from Rp1,500,000 to Rp3,000,000 for more exclusive kosts with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and additional services like laundry. It’s highly recommended to join UIII student groups on WhatsApp, Telegram, or Facebook to get real-time updates and peer support while looking for housing.
