After fully understanding the immigration regulations in Indonesia, it’s time to prepare
everything you need for your departure to the country. There are several important things
you should know, both as an international student and as a domestic student.
International & Domestic Departure Scheme
The following scheme provides a comprehensive overview of the pre-arrival process for
newly admitted students at UIII. This outlines the key steps students must follow leading up to their departure to Indonesia. The process differs slightly for local and international students—local students are responsible for arranging and purchasing their own departure tickets and later submitting a reimbursement form. Meanwhile, international students follow a structured process involving submission of travel information, visa issuance, and coordinated ticket booking by UIII.

Local Students: After attending a pre-arrival Zoom meeting, they purchase their own tickets to UIII and later submit a reimbursement form with proof of travel (e.g., ticket or boarding pass).
International Students: After the Zoom meeting, they fill out a travel confirmation form with their planned travel details. UIII processes their visa within about one week, then arranges flight tickets and visa issuance, which may take 1–2 weeks. Students must then confirm their readiness to depart via a second form.
