Faculty of Islamic Studies Celebrates 55 Graduates from Regular, Dual Degree, and Takhassus Programs

The UIII Faculty of Islamic Studies proudly held its 2025 judicium ceremony, celebrating the achievements of 55 graduates who have successfully completed their studies.

This year’s graduating cohort consists of 18 students from the MA in Islamic Studies (Regular), 14 students from the Dual Degree program—including eight in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh and six with SOAS University of London—and 23 students from the MA in Takhassus (Classical Islam).

In the Takhassus program, Hantrini Rolistiani was recognized as the Best Graduate with the highest GPA, while Hasan Rusydi and Ali Muhtadin both earned the title of Second Best Graduate. The Third Best Graduate award was presented to Faiz Yousef. Beyond academic performance, the Faculty also acknowledged contributions in broader scholarly and social contexts.

Muhammad Fadli was honored as the Most Productive Graduate in Community Engagement, and both Ali Muhtadin and Hasan Rusydi were honored for their strong research productivity, earning the award for Most Productive in Publication.

For the Regular program, the Best Graduate award went to Egi Tanadi, followed by Muhammad Nuril Fauzan as the Second Best Graduate and Md Mahdi Hasan as the Third Best Graduate. Meanwhile, Fithri Dzakiyyah Hafizah and Syamsul Haq were commended for their active involvement in social initiatives, receiving the title of Most Productive Graduates in Community Engagement.

In terms of publication achievements, recognition was given to Md Mahdi Hasan, Mariati Aprilia Harahap, Egi Tanadi, Syamsul Haq, and Muhammad Nuril Fauzan for their impressive scholarly output during their studies.

The ceremony concluded on a hopeful note, with a reminder that graduation is not the end but the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning, research, and service. The Faculty extended its best wishes for the graduates’ future endeavors, confident that they will carry forward UIII’s values of excellence, integrity, and social responsibility wherever their paths may lead.
