The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) proudly held the judicium ceremony for the first batch of the Master of Finance in Sustainable Finance (MFin-SF) program, marking a historic milestone for the Faculty as it sends off its pioneering graduates.
The event not only celebrated the successful completion of the program but also recognized students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance, research achievements, and active engagement in scholarly activities.
In the category of Best Thesis, Auns Azhar earned first place with a final grade of 90.3, followed closely by Syamsi Mustofa Singgih Prayogo in second place with a score of 89.62. Their research works stood out for their academic rigor and contribution to the growing field of sustainable finance.
For the Highest GPA Awards, Rashid Shabir Abbasi was recognized as the top graduate with a GPA of 3.83, securing first place. Auns Azhar followed in second place with 3.82, while Azizah and Syamsi Mustofa Singgih Prayogo both shared third place with a GPA of 3.78. These results highlighted the consistent academic excellence achieved by the first cohort of the program.
Beyond classroom achievements, the Faculty also acknowledged student involvement in broader academic initiatives. The award for Actively Engaged in Academic Activities went to Abdul Saboor in first place with participation in 10 activities, while Syamsi Mustofa Singgih Prayogo came second with 8 activities.
In recognition of research productivity, the category of Most Published Papers and Proceedings celebrated students who contributed significantly to academic discourse. Abdul Saboor led the category with six publications, followed by Lydia Nkechi in second place with three publications, and Rashid Shabir Abbasi in third place, also with three publications.
The judicium ceremony not only highlighted individual achievements but also underscored the Faculty’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and scholarly engagement in sustainable finance. As the first batch of MFin-SF graduates, these students set a strong precedent for future cohorts, embodying UIII’s mission to advance knowledge that bridges finance, sustainability, and global impact.
