Depok, Indonesia – Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) held its first Open Day on April 21, 2026. The event was organized to provide prospective students with clear information about UIII Admissions and a firsthand look at what it’s like to study at the university.
The event was opened by Muammar Kadafi from the Academic Office, who welcomed participants and highlighted the university’s mission. He noted that while UIII is an international state campus, it remains a place for Indonesians to pursue higher education.
“UIII as the first international state campus is also a place for local people”, Kadafi stated, encouraging Indonesian students to apply and take advantage of the same opportunities offered to international applicants.
Fariz Isnaini from the Admissions Office explained the current admission schemes. He pointedout specific differences in this year’s process compared to previous admissions, ensuring applicants have the correct details for their submissions. For further information, applicants can visit the official website at admissions.uiii.ac.id and the Instagram account@studyatuiiii.

To give a personal touch, participants were divided into six groups, each paired with a Student Buddy. These buddies acted as both mentors and tour guides, sharing insight into the daily rhythms of UIII student life.

A key part of the day allowed participants to attend short “sit-in” classes in their fields of interest. These sessions were led by several lecturers, including:
The event changed the perspective of several visitors, including Pradesti, one of the participants who had not originally planned to apply.
“At first, I only planned to accompany my friend and knew nothing about UIII. But after joining the Open Day, the event left a good impression on me. The teaching is very complex and informative, even though I only had the chance to join for 30 minutes.”

The Open Day finished with a clearer understanding for participants of the academic expectations and culture at UIII. By providing direct access to lecturers and current students, the university continues its efforts to help prospective applicants make informed decisions about their future studies.
