Islamic higher education finds itself wandering the crossroads of various developments: it oscillates between Theology and Religious Studies, specifically Islam as defined and discussed by the scholars and Islam as defined and discussed by the society.
This uncertainty unlocks a notion where Islamic higher education is not a process of finding solutions to arising problems, but rather an academic opportunity to explore these patterns.
