The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) held its third judicium for the Master of Arts in Economics program on Friday, August 22, 2025. The ceremony not only marked the formal completion of students’ academic journeys but also celebrated the many achievements of the graduating class.
Among the highlights of the day was the recognition of Ucca Bhanuwati Astutiningtyas Palupi, whose work earned her the award for Best Thesis (Examiner’s Perspective). Her research stood out for its academic rigor and originality, underscoring the high standards upheld by the faculty.
The judicium also celebrated academic performance, with Jajang securing the Highest GPA Award with an impressive score of 3.90, closely followed by Riliwan Olalekan Olanrewaju with a GPA of 3.88, and Hanifia Ihza Manila, who achieved a GPA of 3.87. Their dedication to excellence represents the commitment of FEB students to push the boundaries of knowledge and scholarship.
Students were also recognized for their broader contributions to academic life and community engagement. Rayan Asa Luminaries and Ucca Bhanuwati Astutiningtyas Palupi were commended for their active engagement in academic activities, while Rahmat Olii and Jajang were honored for their involvement in non-academic initiatives that strengthened the sense of community within the faculty.
A special spotlight was given to students whose research productivity brought prestige to the program. Husny Gibreel Musa Saleh emerged as the most prolific, with 17 published papers. Ajibu Jonas followed with 11 publications, while Rahmat Olii contributed seven papers to journals and proceedings, demonstrating the strong research culture nurtured within FEB.
Equally important was the recognition of faculty members who guided and inspired students throughout their academic journey. The title of Highest Appreciated Supervisor was awarded to Dr. Teguh Yudo Wicaksono, Dr. Ugi Suharto, and Dr. M. Luthfi Hamidi, acknowledging their dedication in mentoring and shaping the success of the graduates.
The third judicium of FEB’s MA in Economics program thus reaffirmed UIII’s mission to cultivate graduates who combine intellectual strength, research productivity, and community spirit, ready to contribute meaningfully to both Indonesia and the wider world.
