Twenty-two Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) from Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) were officially inaugurated as Civil Servants (PNS) on Thursday, May 21, 2026, joining 16,138 CPNS from the Ministry of Religious Affairs across Indonesia in a nationwide, hybrid ceremony held at the HM. Rasjidi Auditorium at the Ministry’s central office.
The mass inauguration was presided over by Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, who marked the occasion with a pointed reminder to the newly sworn-in civil servants: do not forget who made this moment possible.

“We must never forget the contributions of our parents. You are successful thanks to their prayers. Perhaps you don’t see them, but tears flow on prayer mats and in places of worship, begging God Almighty to help their children succeed. Perhaps some of you have parents who have passed away and never had the chance to see their children wearing the KORPRI uniform like today.”
— Nasaruddin Umar, Minister of Religious Affairs

The ceremony was marked by a simultaneous oath-taking across all inauguration venues, followed by the singing of national songs — a tradition that underscored the solemnity and shared pride of the occasion.
At the UIII level, Secretary Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim delivered a message to the university’s newly minted civil servants. He called on them to uphold integrity in every aspect of their work, expressing his conviction that each UIII PNS represents the best of what the institution has to offer.
