Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) marked a historic moment on June 5, 2025 as it officially welcomed its first-ever batch of Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) during a hand-over ceremony of appointment decrees (SK), conducted simultaneously across Indonesia under the coordination of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
A total of 22 newly appointed CPNS at UIII received their official assignments, taking on a variety of roles as lecturers in various faculties, as well as education staff in strategic administrative areas, including Information Technology, Finance, and Internal Audit. This marks a significant milestone for the university as it continues to strengthen its institutional capacity through the recruitment of highly qualified personnel.
Dr. Chaider S. Bamualim, University Secretary of UIII, emphasized the university’s commitment to excellence in human resources during his remarks. “Our human resource represents the backbone of our future. As an international university, UIII wants the best human resources, individuals who are not only competent but also passionate about contributing to the advancement of higher education not only nationally, but also internationally,” he stated.
Also addressing the newly appointed CPNS was Prof. Amsal Bakhtiar, Vice-Rector for Planning, Finance, and Business Development. He highlighted the supportive and inclusive work environment that UIII offers to its staff.
“UIII is not just a place to work; it is a place to grow. We are committed to building a professional ecosystem that is inclusive, collaborative, and future-oriented. Those who join us today are becoming part of a community that values diversity, innovation, and service,” said Prof. Amsal.
The ceremony concluded with a hand-over of appointment decrees (SK), followed by a group photo session and orientation briefing. With the addition of this new cohort, UIII is optimistic about accelerating its institutional development and furthering its mission to become a world-class Islamic university rooted in Indonesian values and global vision.
